I've only known Ian Barnes a few years but I so wish I'd seen the whole band live as I think he is one of the best singer songwriters in the country-the equal of any of the current big names.He played our local pub acoustically with Trevor from the Longsands and we were blown away -brilliant and such a gentleman , always willing to give new talent a chance with kind words and encouragement at the open mic he hosts.
